Alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA, is a type of omega-3 fatty acid that is derived from plants, and it is similar to those found in fish oil. It is found in very high amounts in flaxseed oil and in lesser amounts in walnut oil. It is an essential fatty acid - it must be taken in diet and is not produced by the animal's body.

HOW DO OMEGA 3-6-9 & α-LINOLENIC SUPPLEMENT HELP?

The alpha-linolenic acid and related chemicals in flaxseed decrease inflammation and useful for old age diseases such rheumatoid arthritis and another inflammatory (swelling) diseases. Flaxseed oil is also beneficial for treating osteoarthritis, anxiety, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), vaginal infections, dry eyes & high blood pressure.
